The "Triple" features three replaceable cartridges, the first being a 5 micron Sediment Pre-filter to remove initial influent particulate matter 5 micron and above, in size; the second, containing KDF, "today's precious metal for water purification" and Alumina, the one sure way to eliminate dangerous fluoride and arsenic from tap water; and thirdly, the latest development in "extreme microfiltration" (0.2 micron, absolute), an all-carbon filter that combines the fine particulate reduction of a traditional ceramic filter with the chlorine, taste and odor reduction of activated carbon.

Fibers are manufactured using extruded activated carbon particles, fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Water flows in a radial (outside to inside) direction, providing increased dirt capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike regular activated carbon filters, these cartridges wil not channel or bypass, due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core. This cartridge is fully cleanable with "just the wipe of a sponge", and is manufactured using FDA-compliant materials.
